For each US domestic financial derivative assessed, Link uses a systematic approach to arrive at a clear and concise value. These methods include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Trades initiated and posted on various public exchanges
    • Current bids and offers
    • Related spreads or regrades
    • Pipeline transactions and pipeline tariff information
    • Other market related data

Months Assesed: Each contract is valued for 12 concurrent months beginning with the first nearby contract month and continuing for 12 months.  These contracts are also assessed an implied value for each respective quarter for the balance of the calendar year, and then each quarter for the successive calendar year. Link will also provide an assessment for two full successive calendar years.   During the current month for any financial contract, Link will assess the value of that contract in the following manner:

    • A simple arithmetic average of the month-to-date assessment for each day during the trading cycle in which an settlement is published by the CME Nymex Exchange or the ICE Intercontinental Exchange, with the most recent trading day’s value assumed for each remaining pricing day of the contract. This results in a fully realized value for the prompt month contract
